Lolo 1, KSB, Denrele, others joins exquisite magazine at the walk against cancer
The 5th annual EMAC walk held on September 3 with a walk to and fro the LTV Ground and Ikeja environs in Lagos.
The highlight of the walk was encouraging people to attend the free screening sessions which will be held every Friday from this Friday the 9th of September till the 9th of October at Optimal cancer care foundation, 118 bode Thomas road, Surulere.
The 5th annual EMAC walk was held on the 3rd of September with celebrities such as Lolo 1, Kenny Saint Brown, Denrele, Shine, Miss Tourism Nigeria, Tomi Odunsi, Kiki Omeili, Mr Ideal Nigeria, and a host of others.
According to Tewa onasanya, the founder of Exquisite magazine and the EMAC Walk, "This year, we have been able to capture more people, especially the young sexually active women who are also at risk of cervical cancer, a form of cancer that is 100% preventable and one of the few cancers that presents a pre-cancer stage. We appreciate everyone that came out for the walk to raise more awareness and support our free screening campaign ".
Exquisite magazine appreciates everyone at the walk, celebrities, volunteers and people from the South African Community, led by the Consul General, Mr Darkey Africa and his wife. The organizers look forward to a cervical cancer free generation and a successful walk next year.
