As the part of the build up to the big Electronic Soundscapes party coming up this weekend, the organizers held a press conference at the Lagos City Hall, Onikan, Lagos on Wednesday June 10, 2015.
Goethe-Institut Nigeria, Alliance française Lagos and Institut français Nigeria have organized a 5-day electronic music workshop for DJs and music producers in a bid to expand and explore the Nigerian music scene. This joint project is supported by the Franco-German Cultural Fund.
Facilitated by German music producer Marko Fürstenberg, French DJ R-Ash and Nigerian DJ Gboyega ‘Afrologic’ Oyedele, 6 Nigerian DJs /Electronic music producers have been selected to take part in the workshop, which commenced on Monday, June 8 and ends on Friday, June 12, 2015.
Come enjoy the best of European and Nigerian electronic music at the closing concert of the ‘Electronic Soundscapes’ workshop. The concert will feature live performances from DJs R-Ash, Afrologic and Marko Fürstenberg alongside the workshop participants: DJ Sketch, DJ Bally, DJ Java, PJEGK, Irawo Drumline and DJ Kwest.
