On Wednesday, 31st of October, 2018, Filmhouse Cinemas, Lekki hosted the likes of Denrele Edun, LAX, Bollylomo and more at a private screening for the much anticipated military film by Donovan Marsh, “Hunter Killer.” The film stars Gerard Butler, Common, Linda Cardellini, Michael Nyqvist and Gary Oldman and follows a group of Navy SEALs who embark on a dangerous mission to save the captured Russian president.

The film is filled with a chilling suspense that explores the real tensions between America and Russia, the solitary but intense lives of the men and women that serve in the navy, particularly, those that serve on submarines, and indeed, the challenges that often come with leadership.

Among the audience at the screening of this heart-pounding film was the ever eccentric and fun-loving Denrele Edun, the hilarious Bollylomo, the talented LAX, along with super funny Taymib, the gorgeous Aduke Bey, the very stylish Chinonso Arubayi, Ifeanyi Attamah, Vanessa Azar, amongst many others. According to Bollylomo, “it was an amazing watch. It was intriguing, kept me on the edge of my seat and I loved it.” Chinonso Arubayi was overheard saying, “with so many twists and turns, the suspense was amazing.”

Many others had quite a couple good things to say about the movie but the general consensus was that it is definitely a must-watch because the suspense is really thrilling.
