The trend continues this year at the 2016 BET Honors set to hold on Saturday, January 23 at the Warner Theatre, Washington DC.
Entertainment giant prepares to honour outstanding stars in January 2016
The 2016 BET Honors shall take center stage this January as the Black Entertainment Television (BET) play host to recognise a list of five outstanding stars for their performance over the years.
The Black Entertainment Television Honors
The award event shall be hosted by veteran TV presenter and actor, Arsenio Hall, whose mind will be focused on setting the right ambience to appreciate five personalities for their contributions in entertainment and public service.
BET reports that the following individuals are expected for the award. They include Lee Daniels (Television and Film Award), Mellody Hobson (Corporate Citizen Award), Eric H. Holder, Jr. (Public Service Award), Patti Labelle (Musical Arts Awards), L.A. Reid (The Business of Entertainment Award).
The organisers will be looking at using this platform to encourage more recipients in the coming years as they are known for doing.
