Bantu, Bez , Ruby Gyang, Ajebutter22, Others rocked the stage

Afropolitan Vibes kicked of it's series of event for the year with a massive concert.

On  Friday, January 30, 2015 Afropolitan Vibes held It's first edition for the year at the Freedom Park, Ikoyi,.

It was a fun night of Afrocentric music, unplugged performances, and vocals, Put together by Ade Bantu and his crew, It had a number of headline performers which included alternative singer Bez, rising songstress Ruby GyangAjebutter22, and the veteran highlife singer, Chris Ajilo.

Bantu began the night with his band treating fans and guests to a number of songs ranging from conscious music, to a fusion of basic pop and Afrobeat.

Then came Ajebutter22, who lifted the crowd with a solid performances, rounded off by his popular hit song, ‘Omo Pastor’.

Ruby Gyang came after, bestowing some sultry effect on the crowd with her impressive ‘Good man’ record.

Chris Ajilo, 85, who is current planning on releasing his a new album, 50 years after his first, took thr stage, sending a wave of nostalgia through the audience. Bez Idakula, excellent with the guitar was the final guest act, stringing and singing, as he performed his new song, ‘There’s a fire’.

Bantu ended the night with more performances, as the night was rounded off on a high note.
