On Saturday the 21st of November, 2015, TRANSFAST, one of the leading International money transfer Brands will honour the CEO of Konvict Muzik, singer and songwriter, Akon at the 2015 African Diaspora Awards.

The African Diaspora Awards, commonly known as ADA aims to celebrate exemplary individuals who have made a significant difference in the African community in the United States.

It is said to be running for the 5th consecutive time since its inception and would take place at Tribeca Performing Arts Centre in New York City, USA.

On Saturday the 21st of November, 2015, TRANSFAST, one of the leading International money transfer Brands will honour the CEO of Konvict Muzik, singer and songwriter, Akon at the 2015 African Diaspora Awards.

TRANSFAST is also a major sponsor of the 5th annual ADA awards, the information confirmed by the Global Director for marketing of the company, Mr. Jay Vix, in his recent visit to Nigeria.

The Awards is an initiative of Applause Africa, an innovative media brand which seeks to empower Africans in Diaspora and render positive messages that empowers them.

Yearly, awardees are Identified and rewarded based on how they have successfully created a personal brand and excelled in their various causes or programmes which have contributed to the advancement of Africans in Diaspora and Africa as a whole.

Some past Nigerian recipients of these award includes; Chinedu Echeruo, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Kemi Adetiba,Tony Okungbowa and many other Africans in diaspora.
