The 7th anniversary for Taruwa happened with so much fun, happiness, laughter and even tears of joy.
Taruwa Celebrated 7 Amazing Years Of Poetry, Music and Drama.
So much emotions and happiness was in the air last night as Taruwa marked its 7 years of education, enlightenment and entertainment.
The event took place at the art and craft center Bogobiri, Ikoyi, Lagos with fans and art lovers coming together to interact and share ideas.
The organizers crowned a new queen Kemi Lala“Miss Taruwa 2014” after a very keenly contested competition the new queen emerged and in her speech she promised to stop Ebola spread in Lagos and make Taruwa a bigger family. The new queen walked away with a reward of N500 recharge card monthly, two dates with Gideon Okeke, a congratulations song from Bez Idakula and cab fare home.
The brain behind the event, Lydia Idakula Sobogun was full of smiles and joy as she saw the massive turn out for the event which had Bogobiri full to the door as she presented a cake to mark the event. The Mc of the day, Larry went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, who responded YES!
