It's skirts suits and trousers for American journalists who plan to cover the Prince Williams' and Duchess Kate's impending visit to America on the 7th and 8th of December.
Buckingham Palace issues strict dress code to American journalists covering royal visit
The Brits are not impressed with the American's love for jeans and tees and they're not about to let anyone dressed in this manner close to the royal couple
Buckingham Palace issued a dress code to journalists which pretty much banned the American's from desecrating their precious royals with their infamous jeans and t-shirts.
Expectedly this didn't go too well with the American press who have been screaming blue murder over the issued dress code.
Meanwhile there is talk that the royal couple could be meeting Jay-Z and Beyoncé at a basketball game. We can't help but wonder what Princess Kate's court side style will be - will the princess trade her famous dress and hat for a tee and baseball cap? Time will tell.
In the meantime, the palace guidelines state that journalists should wear smart attire at all times "out of respect" and warns that "casually dressed members of the media will be turned away".
