Did L'Wren die because of debts?

World's top fashion designers Alexander McQueen and L'Wren Scott both committed suicide by hanging. Many ask why – were they both killed or was this just a coincidence characterised by depression, debts and drug abuse?

L'Wren Scott, 49, was famous and brilliant with her designs. She had worked with superstars like Nicole Kidman and was dating Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger [worth 100M pounds] since 2001. Although the police say there were no signs of foul play, we can't help but wonder what went wrong. Was she depressed, on drugs, or was she professionally murdered?

Meanwhile, the fashion designer Alexander McQueen, 40, who was struggling with depression and the death of his mother, hanged himself on February 11 2010 in London after taking cocaine, sleeping pills and tranquillisers.

According to latest findings, L'Wren was suspected of having serious financial constrains leading to a debt of $6 million - so was she going bankrupt? After word of her death got out, her friends allege that she had been acting strangely the week before her death. There is also the fact that her show was cancelled at the last minute before the London Fashion Week because of her growing debt. So did these lead the famous successful American fashion designer to take her own life? Another question is; did she take drugs or any pills which might have led to her sudden death?

While we all await the autopsy reports, which hopefully will be released soon, we’ll be sure to keep you posted on L’Wren's shocking death.

Why would two very famous fashion creative heads die by their own hands and in such a horrible way? Send us your comments.
