Rihanna is quietly but skillfully expanding her empire with her Puma collection to her new makeup line in the works. Now, she has founded a beauty and stylist agency, with managing partner Benoit Demuoy, based in Los Angeles, called Fr8me.
The pop star, who is represented by WME said "Hair, makeup and styling play an important role in creativity. I am very involved with that part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to do."
The new firm helps artists land commercials, editorial shoots, ad campaigns and red-carpet jobs. So far the agency has on board Rihanna's longtime makeup artist Mylah Morales, Taraji P. Henson's wardrobe stylist Jason Bolden and hairstylists Patricia Morales (Evan Rachel Wood, Fergie) and Marcia Hamilton (Jada Pinkett Smith and the Smith family).
The artist who is known for taking risks with her beauty looks from ladylike curls and pastel makeup, to blue lipstick and a messy topknot a selection of bobby pins, frothy natural curls, and atomic red extensions, added;
"We are lucky enough to have some of the best artists at Fr8me, but I also have a soft spot for finding new talent with extraordinary skills!"
That’s not all, however, Riri, in conjunction with Fr8me, has started the photo agency A Dog Ate My Homework, which reps shooters Erik Asla and Deborah Anderson.
