2016 was a busy one for Jackie Aina. The Nigerian-US based Youtube sensation, makeup artist and licensed cosmetologist based in the US has a way of drawing her followers in with her tutorials, tips and tricks which are fun and interactive as she doesn't hold back.

She collaborated with a lot of cosmetics brands this year bringing expertise garned over the years into practise. She is one revered beauty vlogger.

Lola OJ got busy in 2016 with tutorials. A beauty and makeup enthusiast, Lola OJ brought it this year with her playful and extremely useful tutorials.

Her makeup looks are ever flawless earning her followers who love her beauty techniques in such a short time.

She collaborated with BathKandy, a desert inspired beauty brand earlier this year.

Kiitana is a Nigerian-US based vlogger. The beauty enthusiast is loved for her playful tutorials and her DIYs which has earned her followers.

4. Toni Olaoye

Toni Olaoye is a breath of fresh air. The new but fast rising vlogger is a Nigerian based in Canada who shows stunning easy makeup applications as simple as possible.

She's been able to amass an impressive following and has greatly improved over the course of the year.

5. Jennifer Olaleye

Jennifer Olaleye didn't do badly in 2016.

A Nigerian-UK based specialist makeup artist and Youtube sensation with makeup and haircare tutorials for her thousands of followers across social media.

Deola Adebiyi of OmogeMura put in a lot of work in 2016.

The blogger pushed out tutorials on her Youtube platform as well as on social media. She's slowly garnering her following and remains consistent.
