Born Iman Mohamed Abdulmajid , the sixty (year old) super model who arrived in New York in 1975 revealed she was taken aback at her first ever photoshoot for Vogue when she was asked for her own foundation going on to reveal the makeup artist had to make a cocktail of foundation to create a hideous makeup look for her, which thankfully was manageable only because the shoot was done in black and white!

Iman rose to become one of fashion and beauty’s most famous faces in the 80's to the 90's but her experience was the only reason she chose to launch her own brand IMAN Cosmetics in 1994.

After her experience Iman bought every pigmented foundation in the market to be mixed and matched for her whenever she goes for a shoot and for every fashion show she worked in!
