Monday mornings are the worst for most people. After a fun and care-free weekend, they have to get back to work and it’s not cool.

For most women, getting ready on a Monday morning isn’t easy yet some women make it seem super easy.

For those women who need help with Monday mornings, here are some useful tricks by Dita Von Teese:

1.) The first thing she does every morning is drink a large glass of water with fresh lemon.

2.) She loves to have about 7 to 9 hours of sleep. Sleep is very important to having a great morning and day.

3.) She’s a light sleeper, who doesn’t wake to traditional alarms but unusual and interesting sounds that are sure to wake her up.

4.) Her morning ritual includes drinking water, taking vitamins, washing my face, and moisturizing.

5.) She also engages in Pilates nearly every morning. Also, Yoga can be beneficial as well.

6.) She also likes comfortable clothes for her day to day schedule without straying away from her personal style. She also love dresses because she can zip and go, no fussing around putting a look together.

7.) Her favorite breakfast meal is a green smoothie, which is 70 percent green and 30 percent fruit, as advised in Kimberly Snyder’s book Beauty Detox Foods. If she’s still hungry, about an hour or two after that, she has toasted millet or rice bread with avocado on top and a sprinkling of smoky or truffled sea salt.

8.) As far as her beauty routine goes, she’s mastered her routine so it never takes her more than 20 minutes but then it may take longer depending on what she has to do for the day or who she has to meet.

9.) For her full morning routine,  she wakes up at around 8 or 9:00 a.m. and have a cuddly lie-in for a bit. She likes to sleep in full darkness so she opens the curtains up to lie in bed for about half an hour to really wake up.

She usually then goes through my basic beauty routine and then has her green smoothie and tea. She gets dressed in her Pilates “uniform,” or black capri pants, fitted black or white T-shirt, ballet flats and either a coat or skirt.

10.) Dita Claims “Starting the day right is everything! I think that what I eat and drink in the morning sets the tone for the day. I have much more energy when I have water with lemon and my green smoothie.

Exercising also makes me feel great, uplifts my mood, and allows me the kind of freedom for indulgences later in the evening. The morning is about a practiced, healthy discipline that I can see the effects of, so I stay true to a routine as best I can”.
