Armpit lumps are common and most times they are a sign of inflammation of the lymph nodes.
Armpit lumps are usually not serious health concerns but in rare cases they might be an indication of a serious health problem in which case it's best to see a medical practitioner/professional.
Usually shaving, using deodorant sprays/roll-ons, harmless growths and so on may be the simple reasons for armpit lumps but most times they tend to come off rather annoying so if they are simple reactions, there are ways to tackle them:
1. Using Lemon Juice
Lemon juice contains anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce swelling and pain from the lump (this happens mostly due to shaving wrongly) as well as Vitamin C.
To use lemon juice on armpit lumps:
- Squeeze juice from lemon
- Apply this with cotton ball al over the lump and the area
- Leave it on for fifteen to twenty minutes
- Rinse it off with water and gently pat dry
Repeat this twice daily till you get desired results.
Honey helps fight infection and it also contains anti bacterial properties. Works well to fight irritation as well as infections.
To use honey on armpit lumps:
- Apply natural honey on the affected area
- Leave this on for about fifteen minutes
- Rinse off with lukewarm water
Note: If however you notice a persistent lump under the armpit, be sure to check with your doctor.
