Nigerian sports experienced their second case of kidnapping on Wednesday, November 18 when the Medical Director of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) Professor Ken Anugwueje was abducted on his way to the airport.

According to reports, Anugwueje was on his way to the airport in company of his official driver when he was kidnapped.

His driver who was with him was killed by the gunmen during the kidnapping.

President of the AFN President Solomon Ogba has confirmed that the kidnappers have made contact and have demand for a N20m ransom according to Silverbird TV.

This is after the mother of coach of Nigeria U-23 team Samson Siasia was kidnapped on Monday, November, 16.

The Siasia family are yet to be contacted by the abductors.
