Another young Nigerian has fallen a victim of police brutality after he was shot in the head by a senior officer following an altercation.

You are about to view picture(s) that may be disturbing.

According to one Sani Hamisu, a staff of the Jos North Local Government Area in the state who reported the incident, the young man was on his way home after closing from work on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, when he was confronted by the officers led by one Inspector Gyang.

When the victim asked what his offence was that he should be arrested, the Inspector got angry and began beating him. Not done with the beating, the officer cocked his gun and shot him in the head.

After the shooting, Inspector was alleged to have dared anyone to do anything about it as he did not care if the victim died or not.

Read what Hamisu posted on his Facebook wall:

"This is one of the police brutality committed against a human being today in Jos. This boy was returning home from work this morning and was shot on his head with a life bullet by officers from the 'C' Division.

Arrogantly, the police officer by name Inspector Gyang confirmed that they shot him and we should go to any length, he doesn't care."

This is another case of men of the Nigeria Police taking the laws into their hands and brutalizing innocent Nigerians extra-judicially with little or nothing done to such officers. We hope the police authorities will tackle the menace of police brutality head on.
