Another new born baby has been rescued from where it was dumped by its mother.

Another new born baby who was dumped by its mother at a refuse dump at Zuba in the Gwagwalada Area Council of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, was lucky to be rescued alive after a passerby found it wrapped and dumped beside the motor park in the town.

According to Daily Trust, the person who saw the new born baby, a member of the Zuba branch of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), narrated that he had gone to ease himself at the refuse dump when he discovered the baby and raised an alarm, adding that a polythene bag containing some clothes inside was placed beside the baby.

Immediately he raised the alarm, some people residing in the area rushed to the scene to have a glimpse of the baby before police from the Zuba Division who later arrived the scene carried the baby away.

It was further gathered that the baby was later taken to a motherless babies' home in Gwagwalada while the police have commenced investigations.
