Efforts by the government of Nigeria to stem the tide of its citizens committing crimes outside the country took another hit when a 49-year-old Nigerian national, Stanley Martins Uzoma, was arrested in West Delhi, India, for peddling high quality cocaine, the police in that country has reported.

Another Nigerian man has been arrested for trafficking drugs in India.
Uzoma who is also accused of living on expired visa, was arrested with 47 gramme of high quality cocaine near PVR Cinema situated on Ring road in A-Block Park area of Prashant Vihar district on Tuesday, June 16.
According to the Hindu Times, the Delhi crime branch, acting on a tip off, laid a trap in the area after receiving information of Uzoma's deals in contraband and when he was taking the drug to a customer, the officials swooped in on him and the narcotic was found in his possession.
The police also learned that his visa had expired in January, 2015, after Uzoma went to the country on a business visa in year 2009.
