Woman bites off neighbour's nipple, swallows it during fight

A Lagos based woman has been remanded in prison for biting off her neighbour's nipple and swallowing it.

A middle aged woman, Bola Olowolagba, a mother of four, will spend some time in the Kirikiri Prison pending when her case will be heard after she was remanded by an Ejigbo Magistrates' Court for allegedly biting off the nipple of her neighbour, Adelowo Taiwo, and swallowing it during a fight.

According to reports, the two women who are neighbours at a compound in Shasha area of Lagos, had a quarrel over the sweeping of the compound, leading to a bloody fight where Olowolagba bit off Taiwo's nipple.

Narrating how the incident took place, Taiwo said her neighbour had held a party and the aftermath was a littered compound. Entreaties for her to sweep the compound fell on deaf ears till Taiwo took it upon herself to sweep the place.

But Olowolagba took offence at the action of Taiwo and challenged her. The argument soon escalated into a fight and the women went into a free for all, stripping themselves naked and in the process, Olowolagba bit off Taiwo's right nipple and swallowed it.

Taiwo was rushed to the Igando General Hospital where she is currently being treated while the case was reported at the Shasha Police Division.

The suspect was later arrested and charged for inflicting bodily injury on the complainant.

When the charge was read to her, Olowolagba pleaded not guilty and the presiding Magistrate, Mrs J.O.E. Adeyemi, granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.

She was however ordered to be remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when her bail application will be perfected. The matter was adjourned till September 21 for mention.
