Three brothers, all in their 60s, have been docked at the Igbosere Magistrate's Court for allegedly forging a document as well as stealing the sum of N6.2 million being rents collected from tenants living in a house belonging to another man.

Three blood brothers have been dragged before a court for allegedly conspiring to steal and sell a property that does not belong to them.
The brothers, Awolowo Akinjole, 68, Oluwole Akinjole, 64, and and Ireti Akinjole, 60, are standing trial before Magistrate I. O. Omotoso on a three-count charge of stealing, conspiracy and forgery.
The prosecutor in the case, Oluwole Idowu, told the court that the accused committed the offences between 2006 and 2014 in Lagos.
Idowu said they conspired and stole the money belonging to one Amos Omotere and the Akinjole family from rents accruing from a property at No. 54, Idowu St., Olodi-Apapa, and also allegedly forged a Deed of Assignment of a property situated at No. 15, White House Street, Aja Ileye, Lagos, belonging to the Akinjoles with the intent to defraud an unsuspecting buyer.
The offences contravened Sections 285, 363 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011, and carries a minimum of three years imprisonment.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty and Omotosho admitted them to bail of N300, 000 each with one surety each while adjourning the case till April 27 for mention.
