The police have busted a criminal pastor

A man of God and founder of a pentecostal church in Delta State, Pastor Felix Otulukwu, has been arrested and charged before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court over some stolen vehicles found parked inside his church premises, reports PM News.

According to the police, the pastor was using the church compound to hide the vehicles stolen from Lagos State and other parts of the country where the vehicles are reworked and sold to unsuspecting members of the society.

The arrest of Pastor Otulukwu, an indigene of Agbor, came following a report his manager made at the Zone 2 of the Lagos Police Command, alleging that the Pastor was using his church as the hiding ground for stolen vehicles which he sold out after refurbishing them.

Among the vehicles recovered were two Toyota Hilux worth over N15 million, two Toyota Camry worth N3 million, a Toyota Hiace bus worth N15 million and Toyota High lander worth N3 million.

The police also allege that in February 2015, Otulukwu and others, conspired and stole a Camry car at 24 Ondo Street in Oke-Ira in Ogba, Lagos, belonging to one Emmanuel Imo and escaped.

In the same month, Pastor Otulukwu and his gang received a stolen Toyota Hilux and other vehicles stolen at the Demuren area of Ketu.

He also procured some fake documents which he handed over to buyers of the vehicles and during police investigations, the fake documents were discovered.

However, when the charges were read to him, Pastor Otulukwu pleaded not guilty and the presiding Magistrate, Mrs S.K. Matepo, granted him bail in the sum of N1 million but ordered that he be remanded at the Ikoyi Prison pending when he will perfect his bail, while the case was adjourned till December 9.
