A 6-month-old baby is currently with the police who are trying to link it with its family.


The reckless behaviour of an unknown policeman has led to the death of a Ghanaian man simply known as Andem in Anambra State.

The victim who plies his trade as an electrician reportedly received a bullet in the neck after the policeman started shooting sporadically.

According to an eyewitness who spoke to Punch News, the culprit has been known for such behaviour whenever he gets drunk.

“The policeman shoots sporadically with his service pistol each time he visits the area."

“He is a drunk and each time he is intoxicated, he behaves abnormally. He has been terrorizing us."

“Everybody knows him around here because of his erratic behaviour," he said.

The state police command is yet to give a statement concerning the incident, as its Public Relations Officer, Nkeiruka Nwode claimed not to have knowledge of it.
