Fatal accident divides body of man into two

An officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr. Seun Onijala, told newsmen that it was as a result of recklessness.

Two commercial buses and a Mercedes Benz sport utility were involved in the accident.

According to the Daily Post, the vehicles involved include two commercial buses and a Mercedes Benz sport utility.

Mr. Seun Onijala, the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Oyo State command confirmed the incident.

He stated that the accident was as a result of reckless driving.

Apart from the six that were confirmed dead, 21 other passengers, who sustained high degree injuries were taken to the Ibadan Cen­tral Hospital, Ososami for medical attention.

“While the remains of the dead passengers had been deposited at the Adeoyo Hospital morgue, Ibadan, about 21 persons who sustained high degree of injuries were taken to Ibadan Cen­tral Hospital at Ososami for treatment," Onijala said.
