The Lagos State Police Command is now in full gear as the command has vowed to rid the state of every form of criminals and criminality, and has matched words with actions in the arrest of notorious traffic robber who specializes in attacking females in early morning traffic around the Lekki axis.

According to ACP Abayomi Shogunle, the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Complaint Response Unit, who posted the feat on his Twitter account, the 27-year-old suspect, Sunday Onjefu, was arrested on Friday, August 19, 2016, at Itedo bus stop, Lekki Phase 1 area.

Onjefu, an indigene of Benue State, was arrested by the Maroko Police Division while allegedly dispossessing some ladies of their handbags and other valuables, i the early hours of the day.

Uncannily, two plastic toy guns and a knife he used in threatening the ladies were recovered from him.
