Tiwa Savage Impostor claiming to be singer scams Lagos politician of N500K

A person parading him or herself as Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has duped a Lagos State politician of N500,000.

According to Daily Independent Segun Adewale, popularly known as Aeroland, who is the Managing Director of Lagos-based travel agency, Aeroland Travels, was duped of the sum after he paid a Tiwa Savage impersonator to perform at his event.

Segun Adewale according to the report is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Lagos West in the forthcoming 2015 election, planned to invite Tiwa Savage to perform at his declaration party.

He was however duped after he paid the sum of N500,000 to the hoaxer.

After the singer failed to show up at his party, Segun Adewale later discovered that he had been duped.

According to the report, he is banking on the financial institution through which the money was paid to help get what is left of the amount as a withdrawal has already been made on the beneficiary account.
