A Cameroonian couple took to blood covenant in order to expressing an undying love for each other.

The footage introduced the pair closely seated on a bird. They proceeded to suck each other's thumbs believed to have been earlier pierced.
It seemed a big deal for the couple who appeared emotional as they carried on with the process.
After this was done, they rolled out their tongue as if to present proof that they were truthful in the blood covenant.
What social media thinks
The idea of a blood covenant to prove one's love for a partner was not so appealing for many on IG who noted through their profiles their dissatisfaction.
An Instagrammer 'faithbaker2' observed through the LIB's comment section that the lady in the clip may have been pressured to enter the covenant.
In a similar reference, another profile implied that the male partner may be a jealous one.
