Nominees grace This Day Style cover

The nominees' list for The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) 2016 was released today, Monday, December 5, 2016.

The Future Awards Africa which rewards hard work, talent and achievement is reserved for young people between 18 - 32.

The nominees for the annual award ceremony are key players, shaping the future, of today, in technology, arts & culture, business, fashion and every other sphere of our lives.

Some of the nominees for The Future Awards made the cover of the latest edition of This Day Style.

Nine of the nominees out of 100 graced the cover of the magazine that came out on the weekend. These nominees include Stephanie Coker, DJ Obi, Tosin Ajibade, Jane Michael Ekanem, Kenneth Okwor, Oluwo Adedunmola, Adenrele Sonariwo, Kehinde Paul and Bidemi Zakariyau.

"It goes without saying that we have had one of the most difficult years in our history. The days are bleak. But the stories of these nominees and their work helps me remember that through the concrete roses will grow. We can still bloom. It is not over!," said Bukunyi Olateru-Olagbegi, Chairman, Central Working Committee, The Future Awards Africa in a press release.

The 11th edition of The Future Awards Africa will hold on Sunday 18th December 2016 in Lagos.

The full list of over a 100 nominees, across 21 categories was released on Sunday, November 4, 2016, on Ebony Life TV, Channels TV and ON TV at 3PM.
