2 secondary school students found dead in Osun River

Dead bodies of two students of a secondary school in Osogbo were found floating in Osun River.

The Ijetu area of Osogbo town was thrown into utter sadness as two secondary school students were found death floating on Osun River.

The body of Samson Obasanjo and Kabiru who were student of Ifeolu Secondary School, Osogbo, were discovered floating on the Osun River by a resident of the area who had gone to fetch water.

Upon seeing the bodies floating, she dropped her bucket and ran to the street, where she raised an alarm.

According to reports, Samson Obasanjo and Kabiru have been missing since Monday.

The parents of the boys broke in to tears when they saw the lifeless bodies of their children.

The bodies were later removed from the scene by men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.

Samson Obasanjo, and Kabiru were in Junior Secondary School 2 of Ifeolu Secondary School.
