Hoodlums hold the restive community of Fadeyi in Lagos to ransom once again, leaving in their wake sorrow, tears and blood.

The usually restive Fadeyi area of Lagos, erupted once again on Monday, March 2, 2015, when hoodlums numbering over 50 stormed the area at about 8.30 pm, armed with dangerous weapons, unleashing havoc on residents and passers-by.

At the end of their wanton and reckless attack, one Yusuf Olayinka, a father of three was killed from a stray bullet while a woman, Margaret Agbor and her five-year-old son, Victor, were also injured.

The thugs said to be from the Mushin axis of Fadeyi, invaded different streets in the area, shooting sporadically into the air, at the same time robbing residents.

According to eyewitnesses, the lifeless body of the late Olayinka was found in a pool of his blood at Ogunjobi Street. The deceased who reportedly lived across the road, was waiting at the bus stop to cross the Ikorodu Road when the stray bullet hit him.
