Ghana News reports that the teenager, a student of Kwabre Senior High School in Akuma, in the Nkoranza South District of the Brong Ahafo region, could not contemplate life without his lover who is also said to be a student of the same institution.

It was gathered that the teenager grew despondent after the girl called him to say she was no longer interested in the affair and reportedly drank the poison and died before help could come his way.

The reason for his action was discovered from a  suicide note he left behind saying he decided to end it all because his girlfriend called off their relationship.
