Shock as woman gives birth to 'bathroom slippers' in Bauchi

A strange birth has been recorded in Bauchi where a woman gave birth to a pair of slippers.

The poor mother and the slipper

This story sound stranger than fiction but the video that has been circulating on the social media tells otherwise.

It is the story of a 25-year-old housewife in Azare, Bauchi State, who, after complaining of strange movements in her womb, gave birth to a pair of bathroom slippers at the Azare General Hospital.

According to the video, the medical director who conducted the delivery on the woman, narrated how the woman, Amina Usman, was rushed to the hospital after she complained of movements inside her womb and  after going through labour, she reportedly gave birth to the slippers.
