3 men arraigned for having homosexual sex

Three men who were caught having homosexual sex in Lagos have been arraigned in court by the police.

The suspects who are facing a one-count of sodomy, were allegedly caught in the act on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at an apartment on Henry Ejogu Street, Lekki Phase1, by neighbours after a mother of one of the participants saw them engaging in the unholy act.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Nurudeen Thomas, told the court that the accused who are neighbours, were caught while having anal sex when the woman barged into her son's room unexpectedly and raised an alarm when she saw them.

When the charge was read to the accused, they all pleaded not guilty and the Magistrate, Mrs F.O. Ikobayo, granted them N100, 000 bail with two sureties each in like sum, while the case was adjourned till November 30 for trial.
