Michael Hammons got more than what he bargained when he helped rescue a dog.

Hammons was arrested in Georgia, for breaking into a car because he rescued a dog who has about to die from the heat in the vehicle.

While others were waiting for help to rescue the locked-in dog, Hammons smashed one of the windows of the car with his wife's wheelchair.

Unfortunately, he did not get a medal for that. The owners of the car asked the authorities to take action against him for damaging their cars. He was later arrested for his kind gesture.
