Two siblings die in fatal road crash in Ondo

Two brothers were killed by a speeding commercial bus in Ondo State, throwing the family into serious mourning.

Two brothers have lost their lives in a ghastly accident that occurred at the Etioro-Akoko road in Akoko South West local government area of Ondo State on Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Eyewitnesses say that apart from the two siblings, another man also lost his life in the accident said to have been caused by a commercial bus coming from Abuja that was on a very high speed.

It was gathered that the bus which was on a top speed when it lost control and crushed the commercial motorcycle conveying the brothers and the rider who all died instantly.

A witness to the sad accident reported that the driver of the commercial bus had carried some passengers on the road and officials of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) were on his trail before he got to Etioro-Akoko where his bus hit the motorcycle.
