An older sister of the female Airforce personnel murdered by her lover, Airwoman Solape Oaldipupo, has given another reason the jealous man, Airman AB Kalu, could have murdered her.

According to Punch, the sister, Jolaade Oladipupo, said the 21-year-old deceased who was committed to mother earth at the Air Force Cemetery, Ojo Barracks, Ojo, Lagos State on Thursday, March 23, 2017, had told Kalu that she was not ready for a serious relationship as she wanted to go back to school and concentrate on her career.

This stance by the Ijebu Ode, Ogun State-born Solape who was fondly called Shomzy, did not go down well with the lovestruck Kalu who felt the lady was going to leave him for another man and he went overboard and murdered her in cold blood in the early hours of Saturday, on March 12, 2017.

Jolaade explained that the deceased had attempted joining the military and police forces several times without success until she was shortlisted to join the air force in January 2017.

“She had always wanted to join the force. She was a strong girl and always fought for people’s rights. Before she joined the air force, she had applied to join the police, the army, and navy, without any success. She didn’t give up until her application to the air force succeeded.

On the night that she was killed, we had earlier spoke and I advised her to further her studies in order to get accelerated promotion in the air force.

She told me that she had told her boyfriend that she didn’t have time for any relationship and that she wanted to concentrate on her studies. She said she planned to buy the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination form. That was the night that the man killed her.”
