25-yr-old man in the dock for raping neighbour’s pregnant wife

A 25-year-old man who could not control his sexual libido has been dragged to court for raping his neighbour's pregnant wife.

A 25-year-old man, Monday Maule, has been dragged to the Lagos Magistrate's Court sitting in Tinubu, Lagos Island, for allegedly raping one Chinyere Samuel, his neighbour's eight-months old pregnant wife.

Maule reportedly committed the sacrilegious crime on Monday, February 23, 2015.

It was learnt that the woman whose husband, a Ghanaian national, was on night duty in a Chinese construction company, was sleeping in her room at the Friends Colony, Agungi, Lekki, Lagos, with her four children when Maule sneaked into the room at about 5 am and overpowered her. He then proceeded to rape her.

Chinyere was said to have woken up to find the marauding Maule on her and raised the alarm which attracted other neighbours who apprehended the rapist.
