Two London based Nigerian men, Ife Ojo, 31, and Olusegun Agbaje, 43, haveen arrested for allegedly defrauding a 48-year-old British woman they met on a dating website, of the sum of £1.6 million, with a promise of marriage, Daily Mail reports.

The love fraud was perpetrated between March and December 2014, with the victim paid £1.6million into numerous bank accounts, with the money then transferred into various personal accounts, including £35,000 to the bank accounts of the suspects.

The woman who is from Hillingdon in London, had met a man on the site who claimed to be Christian Anderson and after a few weeks of chatting, the man proposed love to her which she gladly accepted, believing she had found true love at last.

But she did not envisage what would later hit her when Anderson, (Agbaje) who had told her he was an engineer, sent her a request that he needed money to fund engineering projects in Africa and free up inheritance that was being held in a Dutch vault.

And that was the beginning of the fleecing as he kept going till she had spent all her money on him without seeing him.

She had even met with 'Anderson's' lawyer (Ojo) and travelled to Amsterdam to  discuss money that was supposedly being held in a vault, as well as searching for houses where she could live.

When they were arrested, Ojo and Agbaje had a copy of Neil Strauss's bestselling dating manual 'The Game' with them, which reveals the the skills and techniques used by 'pick up gurus' to seduce women.

They also used a book of love poems called 'For You, My Soul Mate: Loving Messages To Share With A Very Special Person,' by Douglas Pagels to help them seduce the unsuspecting woman.

Both men were facing jail today, after they admitted conspiracy to defraud following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police's specialist cyber crime and fraud detectives - FALCON.
