Kano News reports that the boy, Musa Muritala, died on Friday, June 3, after battling the various life threatening injuries he suffered in the attack by his stepmothers, including having both legs and arms broken, having one of his eyes blinded, his tongue being cut off as well as having his testicles cut open by the wicked women.

The stepmothers, Zainab and Hafsatu Muritala, married to the boy's father, Murtala Musa, had reportedly subjected the minor to the brutal assault in Gulu town in Rimin Gado Local Government Area of the state.

The young victim who was the wife of the third wife of his father, was handed over to the senior wife, Zainab, to take care of after he separated from his mother but unknown to him, Zainab and his other wife, Hafsatu, took it upon themselves to torture the boy severally even as he could not report the abuse to his father.
