Man who beheaded woman caught in Lagos (Graphic Photo)

A suspected ritualist who beheaded a woman in the Badagry area of Lagos State has been arrested by a local vigilante group.

According to an eyewitness who posted the incident on Facebook, the suspect was sighted in the early hours of Saturday, March 18, 2017, with a sack on his head.

When he the vigilante members making towards him, he reportedly took to his heels but the vigilante members gave him a hot pursuit and caught up with him.

On searching the bag, the fresh head and other parts of the murdered woman was discovered with blood dripping from them.

The vigilante members were said to have descended on the man and beat him to a pulp before he was handed over to the police to the anger of many who wanted to lynch him.

This is how the eyewitness captured the incident:

"This happened yesterday in Badagary, Lagos. This man was caught with a woman's head and hands! Poor woman... Her people must have been looking for her! Why are people like this?"

It was gathered that the woman had been reported missing by her family two days earlier before her murder.
