Chairman, Aquila Group Limited, a multi-million Naira conglomerate with international investments in real estate, hospitality, energy, financial services, entertainment and international trade, Shina is a true example of a man who not only lives many lives, but excels at every single one of them.

Son of the late famous Nigerian magician Professor Abiola Peller, Shina holds a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. This is the foundation on which he has gone on to build the vast and diverse empire he is well renowned for today. “Why restrict yourself to one thing when you could excel at several other things,” he says.

Fondly called the “King of Nigerian Nightlife”, Shina’s vision to carve a niche and add value in the hospitality sector led him to set up Quilox Restaurant, Bar and Night Club which was the first purpose built world class night club in Nigeria. He also set up Aquila Records in 2014 in a bid to develop and support young exceptional talents.

Adams Ibrahim – Video Jockey/ Fashion Entrepreneur/ Rapper/ King Of Talk

CEO, Embruto Denims by VJ Adams and Smada Entertainment, Ibrahim believes there’s no second shot at living this one life so why not live them to the maximum.

Charles Okpaleke – Nightlife Tycoon/ Health Economist/ Lecturer/ Silver Tongue

A Medical Laboratory Scientist by discipline, one would naturally assume that Charles would be the nerdy, cloak-clutching, single-minded type but he is far from this science stereotype. This be-spectacled gentleman is a top entertainment entrepreneur; Charles is CEO and co-founder of one of Nigeria’s biggest and most successful nightlife chains: the Play Entertainment Network.

His foray into entertainment does go beyond just nightlife and hospitality too as he’s also a Nollywood movie producer. A firm believer that life is all about giving back, he says: “A tight fisted Hand is unable to receive.” This philosophy birthed the other aspects of his multi-facetted life: he’s a lecturer at the University of Nigeria, and also a United Nations Health Economics Consultant.
