"My name is James, a 38-year-old man. I have a story to tell and I hope your readers will help me with some useful advice.

I know I was the one who put myself in this mess I am currently facing with my decision to divorce my wife of 10 years and get married to another woman who has made life a living hell for me.

I was married to Ebube who bore me three lovely children. I know that no marriage is without its fair share of troubles but Ebube practically forced my hands into sending her away.

Our problem stemmed from the fact that she was very overbearing, nagging and always suspicious of me. Ebube was very insecure and thought anytime I stayed out late, I was with another woman.

She would pick up fights with me and would sulk for days though she would always apologize but her behaviour wore me out and pushed me into the arms of Sandra.

But little did I know that Ebube was a saint compared to Sandra who is now a terror in my life, family members and most importantly, my children.

I started dating Sandra as a way of relieving myself of the tension Ebube was putting me through and for the two years we dated, Sandra showed me love, care, attention and always made me wish she were my wife.

Then she started talking about us being together so she could mend my broken heart and take proper care of me. Before I knew what I was doing, I began comparing Sandra to my wife and I saw she was far better than Ebube.

I then made the worst decision of my life by filing for divorce from Ebube and after six months, I got married to Sandra in a court.

And that was when it dawned on me that I had gotten myself into trouble. After settling down in my house, Sandra started manifesting her true colour. She started by maltreating my children and anytime I tried to caution her, she would remind me that she was not my former wife and she would put me where I belonged.

Then she started engaging me in fights, and on three occasions, stabbed me with a knife and a broken bottle.

When my sister and mother came to visit us, she was so nasty and even fought my mother and sent her out of the house.

She has fought with almost all of our neighbours and because of her, we have been evicted from two houses.

My children are no longer safe with her around and this has affected them and their studies. The worst of it all is that Sandra is now sleeping around with other men and does not even have the decency of hiding it from me.

I am at my wit's end and don't know what to do with her because she has vowed to kill me and my children if I dare send her packing.
