Redeemed Christian Church of God loses Assistant GO

A senior pastor and one of the Assistant General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has passed on to glory.

The late Pastor Olu Obanure

Pastor Obanure reportedly passed on in the early hours of Tuesday, May 2, 2017, after slumping at a public function.

Though details of the demise of the 66-year-old man of God is still sketchy, it was gathered that he was full of life at the time of his death.

Pastor Obanure was at one time in charge of the West African coast where he operated from Ghana.

When the news of the death of the pastor broke, many members of the church took to social media to send their condolences to the family and the church.

One member wrote:

“Rest in peace daddy till the resurrection morning. May God comfort mummy and all you left behind.”

May his soul rest in peace.
