For a long time, many Women right organisations have moved against undue discrimination against women. This discrimination has trickled down into various aspects of society prompting unequal and unfair treatment of women on many levels.

Using Nigeria as a case study, our focus today is on female inheritance and equality with their male counterparts. According to customary laws in some areas, women are not entitled to equal inheritance like the males.
