Readers want Julius to seek medical help instead of a divorce

35% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters are of the view that Julius should seek medical attention to solve the sexual problems he has with his wife.

A really worried man

It is not for a lack of trying on his part but it seemed he has not been able to meet her standards when it comes to sex and he fears she might get a partner who can give her the kind of sex she wants.

Read his story here:

"My name is Julius and I have been married for two years now but my marriage is heading for the rocks because of my wife's attitude towards sex with me because of the size of my manhood.

I used to think I had a normal penis and counted myself lucky to be among guys with the average size until I got married to Chioma.

I met Chioma in church and we courted for close to six months and going by our church's doctrine, we were not to have sex before marriage and in fact, I could only see her in the presence of our marriage patron who is a pastor.

We could not even hold hands not to talk of being left alone in a room. Whenever she visited my house, she would come with a church member who is also a worker.

It is now that I know the doctrine should be discarded and dating couples allowed to explore their sexuality so as to save themselves the agony and trauma I am currently going through.

Our problem started almost immediately after our wedding because our first night was a disaster. While making love for the first time, my new wife was just lying there like a log of wood while I laboured on top of her.

I was sexually active before I met Chioma and I always thought I was an okay guy when it comes to sex but I never knew I was just a learner where Chioma was concerned because it turned out she was more experienced in the sex game than I could imagine.

Tried as much as I could, I have not been able to satisfy my wife as she keeps complaining about my manhood, saying it is not big enough to fill her up and give her the kind of feeling she wants.

We have tried several sex positions I have read about to no avail as my wife keeps complaining that my manhood has not been able to measure up to her standard. She even threatened one day to get a lover who would be able to satisfy her.

I don't know if it is because her private part is so loose or that my manhood is so small to satisfy her.

We have met our counselor several times and he keeps telling us to do everything possible to make the marriage work but for how will we continue to live in this sham of a marriage?

Julius."
