Readers say they will call off a wedding if a spouse cheats a month to the day

87% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters say they call off a wedding if their fiance/fiancee cheats a few weeks to the day.

This is one worried man

A whopping 87% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters say they will not go ahead with a wedding if they find out that their fiancée/fiancé cheated on them with just one month to the marriage.

The votes came in response to a letter sent in by a reader, Melvin, whose fiancée scream out her ex-boyfriend's name while they were making love few weeks to their wedding.

Read the letter here:

"My name is Melvin and I am at a cross roads at the moment and need advice from your readers. I have been engaged to whom I love with the whole of my heart but at the moment, I am thinking of calling off our wedding which is supposed to come up next month.

The reason for this is her two-timing attitude. In the past two years, I have had to call of her relationship about three times due to this. I have caught her with two men, not to talk of the raunchy text messages she keeps exchanging with men, describing their sex life in details.

Each time, she has begged, cried and made promises that she would never repeat such again and because of the love I have for, I have always forgiven her and given her another chance but it seems she is never going to change.

The last straw was two weeks ago while we were in the thick of our marriage preparation. After our introduction, she has been practically living with me and that fateful night, we were making love and always being a vocal person in bed, Cynthia screamed out the name of another man, the one I caught her exchanging love text messages.

I was shocked and totally put off. After much prodding, she confessed that she was still seeing the man and sleeping with him, even a month to our wedding though she promised to put a stop to it.

She has been begging me for forgiveness but I think I have had enough.

Do I still go ahead with the marriage? What if she continues cheating on me after we are married?

Melvin."
