Readers say Nigerian military cannot defeat Boko Haram in 6 weeks

73.9% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters believe that Nigeria's military cannot defeat the Boko Haram sect in six weeks.

The promise by the National Security Adviser (NSA), that the Nigerian Military will dislodge the dreaded insurgent sect, Boko Haram, in six weeks, in time for the 2015 general elections, has been taken with a pinch of the salt by many in the country.

Those who feel this way, believe that the military cannot achieve what it could not do in six year in a mere six weeks.

But others have been very accommodating and have given the military the benefit of the doubt, trusting that given the will power, they can easily dislodge the insurgents from their stronghold in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States.

The consensus of voters on Pulse Nigeria Poll of Wednesday, February 11, 2015, showed 73.9% of voters against the army's ability to carry out such a feat while 26.1% gave them the pass mark.
