The All Progressive Congress, APC, and its presidential candidate in the 2015 election, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari rtd., last week, threw a spanner into the planned presidential debate when they announced the withdrawal of the former Military Head of State from participating in the debate.

This action was premised on what the party describe as bias by the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria, organisers of the debate because it has been skewed already to favour the incumbent president.

The APC went further to state that damaging documentaries are being sponsored by the PDP led government to disparage its candidate by some government-approved television stations on Buhari, where an avalanche of inflammatory statements, misinformation and blatant lies are being propagated by some of these media against the party and candidates.

Pulse Nigeria Poll went to town to ask its readers if the APC and Gen. Buhari are right to withdraw from the debate and a whopping 61.3% agree that the party is right in its action while 38.7% voted against the withdrawal.

This is the poser Pulse Nigeria threw up:

Do you think Gen. Buhari is right to withdraw from the presidential debate?

This is how Nigeria voted:

61.3% - Yes

38.7% - No

How would you vote on the issue?
