Boko Haram are now begging for a ceasefire

(Premium Times)

The Islamist insurgent sect, Boko Haram, seem to be running out of ideas on how to sustain their long drawn war with Nigeria and, if current reports are anything to go by, they are begging the government for negotiations on how to stop the crisis as well release the abducted female students of the Government Girl's Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, who were kidnapped in April, 2014.

But this is not the first time such attempts have been made, as they always found a way of breaking any peace accord entered into between them and the government.

So with this in mind, many Nigerians think their offer is nothing but a red herring which will not be honoured by them like they always do.

They want the FG to intensify its efforts and equip the military better to tackle and dislodge the terrorists once and for all.

This is the poser that got 88% of PNP readers rejecting their call:

Should the FG go into negotiations with Boko Haram?

How Nigeria voted:

22% - Yes, if that will bring peace to the country

88% - No, the military should go ahead and wipe them out

How would you vote?
