62% of readers say women pregnant for Boko Haram terrorists should keep their babies

Majority of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters are of the view that the rescued women from the Boko Haram enclave who are pregnant should keep their babies.

Nigerians were shocked when it was discovered that over 200 women and girls rescued from the clutches of the Boko Haram sect are with several stages of pregnancy.

The women themselves narrated how the insurgents turned them into sex slaves and slept with them at random.

With the discovery, there has been an ongoing debate on how to rehabilitate the women with many clamouring for the unwanted babies to be aborted for fear that some of them could carry the genes of the terrorists while other are of the view that the babies are innocent and they should not be killed.

So the poser on for a vote was:

As usual, there was a keenly contested voting process and at the end of the day, 61.54 percent voted that the women should keep the babies as they are innocent while 38.46 percent voted for abortion.

How Nigeria voted:

38.46 % - Yes, they should abort the babies

61.54 % - No, they should keep the babies as they are innocent
