A 17-year-old Nigerian girl named
Joy who comes from a poor background says she does not the like the idea of prostitution.
According to her a woman (who she didn't name) told her to come to Italy with her and become a stylist.
"She told me I was going to help her as a stylist. She said my life would be a better one if I get here. When I got here she told me that I am there to be a prostitute so that I can pay her the money that she used in bringing me to Italy" said Joy.
She was sad about this when she found out. "Please God help me. This is not the life I want for myself" she said.
Joy was later rescued by an organisation that helps women who are brought to Italy to become prostitutes. She now wishes that she is back home in Nigeria.
Since the 1980s, it's been said that 30,000 women have been taken to Europe to be prostitutes.
